The Clinical Research & Innovation Office is a partnership between Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest and most successful NHS Foundation Trusts in the UK, boasting a number of world-renowned services, and the University of Sheffield, a world-class university with a reputation for outstanding research.

Our Facilities include

  • A Clinical Research Facility based at Royal Hallamshire Hospital and the Northern General Hospital, and one at Weston Park Hospital with facilities you would find on a ward or an outpatient clinic
  • The Sheffield Medical School, one of the country’s leading medical schools which consistently features highly in independent assessments
  • The Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience – a world leading £18m centre for research into Motor Neurone Disease, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease.
