Collaborations & Our Directorates

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust currently hosts and collaborates with the following:
  • Host the NIHR Yorkshire and Humber Clinical Research Network (CRN)
  • Host the NIHR Yorkshire and Humber Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC)
  • Leads a national programme of technology research called Devices for Dignity
  • STH in a  lead role in the development of a National Centre for Sport and Exercise Science which is exploring the potential of "physical activity as medicine" to promote health, reduce disability, enhance employability / productivity and generally contribute to the health and wellbeing of the population as whole.
