International Clinical Trials Day 2023
International Clinical Trials Day takes place each year on 20th May to celebrate the anniversary of the first clinical trial by James Lind in 1747.

As part of our activities to mark International Clinical Trials Day this year, we will be showcasing the positive impact of research and innovation in Sheffield and beyond at Weston Park May Fayre on Sunday 21st May, 11:00-17:00
In partnership with colleagues from the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Children's Hospital, our pop-up space will be offering a family-friendly range of hands-on activities as well as exhibits and demonstrations exploring clinical trials, medical innovations and more!
